ObamanomicsToday on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read "HUNGRY VET PLEASE HELP" outside a restaurant.
Once in the restaurant my server had an a 'Obama 08' pin on her smock. Thanks for giving away your political outlook for me.
When the bill came I decided not to tip her and explained to her that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. She stood there in disbelief when I told her that I was going to redistribute her $10 tip to someone whom I deemed more in need, the homeless guy outside. She angrily stormed from my table mumbling something. I went outside and gave the homeless guy $10 , As I pointed to the waitress through the window I told him to thank her as she has decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy thanked me and shook my hand. I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waitress was pretty angry that I gave away the money she thought she earned, even though the actual recipient needed the money more. What a shock, I guess she found the redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application. You make your bed you gotta lay in it..

I heard a man call in on the radio and make the association with grades in school. All of the 'A' students would loose points in order to accomodate and bring up the grades of those failing. They might end up with a 'B' or 'C' but hey, redistibuting the points is the only egalitarian thing to do.

This is why democrats can't understand the "redistribution of wealth" concept, simple minded. The concept sounds good on paper, but if you put it into perspective, then it sucks, especially when it affects you. Over simplification? It is basically providing the main concept of redistribution of wealth, that is what it is, taking money from one person who works hard to have a nice life, and gives the money people who are just as capable, if not more capable of doing the same work, but lacks the drive or initiative to succeed, so they will not go without. What is the reward of doing well if you have to give more to people who are lazy just so they can maintain a certain standard of living-dubs on their cars, tattoos, grills, and fancy clothes.

Guys.............look at it on the positive side of things! We've got Obama in office, we are going to be fine. Give him a chance, lets see what he does........he has some decent ideas and if he can put them into reality he'll be the man, if not we can laugh at slappy.
