Hi Jon, I have concerns about traffic at this particular intersection.  During the school year it's difficult to cross here right before school starts and again right when it lets out.  There's visibility issues as well as some motorists not heeding the right of way to pedestrians waiting to cross.  When traffic is light it's almost impossible to cross on foot unless you wait for a car to approach and trigger the light to change or just cross against the red light.  Crossing against the red is not only against the law (at least I think it is here) it's dangerous because of limited visibility due to overgrown bushes in yards.

I would like to see a pedestrian traffic control box installed at this intersection.  I read in the paper where one of the provisions for Mr. Barrett to get his building permit was to pay for sidewalks and traffic lights if they were needed along Old Farm Rd.  Is there any way the city Council could have him pay for the traffic control box?  Once River's Edge is completed the increase in traffic will make it a necessity.

I agree.  I used to live back there and walk to school and at times it was dangerous.  I can see where there would be a need for one when Rivers Edge fills out.  Right now I don't think it meets the level of need like the crossing traffic lights at Julian Allsbrook for Chaloner.

I agree, and on this note I hope that a stoplight at the intersection of Walmart & Logans is considered as well.

Premier in front of Wal-mart and Logans is a state maintained road.
