The DVD, EXPELLED; No Intelligence Allowed is now at Block Buster. At least it is on their website for rent. It is an excellent expose/documentary. Ben Stein did a masterful job of packing enough facts with fast paced historical references and interviews to inform the public through this touchstone documentary. All freedom loving Americans need to wake up on this issue. We are at liberty's tipping point. I gave SunAlsoRises my copy to review so he could, hopefully, post an informative first-hand objective review - before he reads too many of those skanky, atheistic, trying-to-suppress, elitist, spin-meister, propagandistic reviews.

I plan to make waves somehow, somewhere. I am reading a book now by Dr. Jerry Bergman, Slaughter of the Dissidents an excellently documented treatsie describing 30 years of systematic suppression involving thousands of scientists, students and academics . . . in America, not Russia or Communist China. It will be interesting and telling to see which way President Obama will lean on this issue.
Little fires are burning everywhere. They wish to stamp them out at every occassion, however the winds of emperical discovery are blowing ever stronger. Books are being published, scientists are signing petitions, researchers are coming out of their closets refusing to bow to the threats and sanctions and now, a documentary. Sometimes it is better and healthier to let the raging fires blaze and consume the dead foundations and establish a new order of growth. Pretty dramatic, huh? Rent the video, then post your thoughts. You might as well get educated on the subject. This one isn't going away.

Netflix has this in their watch instantly, so if anybody else is a subscriber you can catch it on that. Its highly rated and I plan to sit down and watch it when I have sometime. Been really into John Adams miniseries on DVD lately, so I haven't had time to check it out.

I bought two copies. If anyone wants to borrow one - email Sunalsorises he should be finished with the copy I lent to him. My other copy is tied up also. You can pass it around to rorappers and hopefully, it eventually it will get back to me somehow. I don't know what it would cost to mail but it would be cheaper I'm sure to hand it off.

AWESOME. The wife and I just watched part 4 & 5. I am fascinated by this time and history on both events in the new world and the battles in the old world. But it is rather interesting to see the battling back and forth that went on in the Continental Congress. From the first you can see the divisions that later became the two major parties we have today. Most of the time we think of gentlemen sitting around agreeing on the terms of the Declaration of Independence, not as arrogant, egotistical characters who did not get along with each other and frequently disagreed with as much force as Congress disagrees now. Sometimes even more in the case of Burr and Hamilton.

If you are at all interested in American history or politics, then you will love it.

I bet that is an interesting mini-series...I love history. I need to check that out.

And you know in those days they had something very valuable that congress is lacking today, RESPECT !

Just delivered the Expelled video to Charlie Beaver today. Hope he'll have some commentary about it this week. We'll have to listen and see.
