This site is for informational purposes for the Scout Leaders and parents and families of cub scouts. Pack #238 consist of 8 dens of scouts grades 1-5 from Manning and Halifax Academy. You can view the Pack events on the mail page or if you're interested in a specific den just click on the link for that den in the sidebar.

I know you've got things already set up over there.
But let me throw this on your plate. Would you be interested in moving things over to RoanokeRapidsLife.com?
The new website would be http://pack238.roanokerapidslife.com
You would still have the freedom to post news whenever you want, pretty much the same thing you can do with WordPress.
What say ye? _________________ www.RoanokeRapidsLife.com is a product of G Designs LLC |

| I just set the site up and some parents are just getting the url for this one. I'd like to sit tight for now but maybe in the future we could move over to your place. I appreciate the offer! |

I was looking at your site and saw the pinewood derby thing in March. I thought the local cub scouts had already had that a couple of weeks ago. I know I saw some of the guys I work with "helping" their sons fix their cars. _________________ "But right about now Joe the plumber is meeting with his transition team. | Each pack has their own Pinewood Derby; this one is for the Tar River II District. There will be another one April 19 (I think, I'll have to double check the dates) that's for the entire Tar River District but that's for finalists only. |

| Hey any chance you can put some contact info for a prospective scouts parents? A coworker was asking about 238, and I found the website, but it has no way to contact anybody to see about getting their child to join. |

The only numbers I have for the pack leaders and such are their home numbers and I didn't have permission to put them on the web. #238's Pack Leader is Selene Wynn, I'll see her tonight and ask her about contact information. PM me with your friend's info (if that's okay) and I can pass it along as well.
Thanks! |

| I've updated the site with contact names and numbers. I've also since learned that Halifax Academy now has their own pack! It's small but it's still new. We expect it to grow soon! I've also listed an information page, you'll see the link in the sidebar. |
