Later, Beck held up cards, one with a hammer and sickle and other with a swastika. "Communists are on the left, and the Nazis are on the right. That's what people say. But they both subscribe to one philosophy, and they flew one banner. . . . But on each banner, read the words, here in America: 'social justice.' They talked about economic justice, rights of the workers, redistribution of wealth, and surprisingly, democracy."
I don't normally watch his show (Usually at work or on the way back). Caught a little bit this afternoon.
He had some interesting stats. 93 percent of the poor in this country have color TV. 73 percent have satellite or cable tv service. A significant number (don't recall the statistics) have broadband internet access. and on and on. So - our "poor" are not to be confused with the "poor" of the Sudan, Zimbabwe, Albania or the slums of Mexico City.
Many of our "poor" are contentedly poor. The government pays for their healthcare (medicaid), subsidized housing, ebt (food stamps) cards, assistance with their energy bills, etc. I've been down at Social services on business in the past, and virtually all of those waiting have cell phones, ipods, etc.
Apparently, the goal of the progressives is to make these folks even more content in their existence - take more from those that work and redistribute more to the "poor".
Unfortunaly the term "social Justice", a noble ideal, has been highjacked by 'progressives', socialists, communists etc. Sort of like the devious moniker, 'pro-choice', taken up by those on the left who are in favor of the convenience of exterminating millions in the womb, eschewing personal responsibility for the human life they have brought into this world. "Social Justice" is basically anti-Western democratic repuplican gov't and anti free-market. It is egalitarianism which seeks to guarantee equal results for everyone regardless of talent, effort, investment risk etc. So, if a church is preaching 'social justice' through socialist mechanisms instead of repentence and salvation and good works toward humankind, then I would agree with Beck. "Liberation theology" has been around a long time, especially in South America where communist catholic priests declare Jesus was a socialist revolutionary to manipulate the poor peasants. He's a political marketing clown/genius with frenetic emotional outbursts that inform the public of the asinine administration antics and play acting commander in chief leadership. Even Michael Moore said, on Rachael Maddow, the dems "were in for an *ss whooping of biblical proportion" this year. Obama will be left naked and bleeding. It is probably safer for him and our nation that this occurs.

Does Beck actually do that? How to vote?? Don't know it for a fact, but - I've heard that many Southern democrat minorities are told how to vote (by ministers, and others in leadership positions). I've seen people being handed filled out "sample" ballots to copy when they vote.
I don't know where Sky got his quote from, but it refers to "priests" - I guess that means Catholics?

These are just a sampling of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed. By the end of 2010, dozens more will be.
In December of 2008, the Democrats were really on the rise.
In the last two election cycles, they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats!
The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party. Well, HAAA! In just one year Obama put a stop to all this, and will probably give the house, if not also the senate, back to the Republicans.
He has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are. Every Generation seems to need a re-learning of the lesson on why they should NEVER put Liberals in charge.
Obama is bringing home this lesson quite well:

In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I had ever been in my life. Not of the economy, but of the 'direction' our country was heading, in spite of having a good and godly president.
I thought Americans had forgotten what this country was all about. My neighbors, friends, even strangers, have now proven to me that my lack of confidence in the Greatness and Wisdom of the American people was flat-out wrong, thank God.

He didn't say what church they were to switch to, but I suspect he had this one in mind.
